Key Change Overview 

Effective May 19, 2025, EROAD will discontinue support for the RUAF product on MyEROAD. This change is due to the Oregon Department of Transportation’s (ODOT) launch of ORION, a self-service permitting system. ODOT will no longer provide Single Trip Permit (STP) records, which are critical for accurate Weight Mile Tax (WMT) reporting. 

To ensure uninterrupted WMT compliance, we’ve implemented a solution for users to manually add placeholder STP permits. 

Why This Change Is Necessary 

• ODOT’s ORION System: ODOT’s new self-service platform replaces the legacy process for STP record distribution. 
• Impact on WMT Reporting: Without STP data, WMT calculations would lose accuracy. 
• Interim Solution: While we work to integrate directly with ORION for automated STP retrieval, this placeholder ensures compliance. 

Temporary Solution: Adding Placeholder STP Permits 

Placeholder Value: 999999 (no monetary/operational value; used solely for WMT reporting accuracy). 

Who Can Add STPs

• EROAD Admins (via MyEROAD) 
• Drivers (via the EROAD Drive App) 
• Ehubo Users 

Step-by-Step Guide to Add STP for WMT Reporting

Follow these steps in MyEROAD: 

1. Log in to your MyEROAD account. 
2. Navigate to Tax > WMT. 
3. Select the vehicle requiring the STP placeholder. 
4. Go to Daily Activity for the selected vehicle. 
5. Choose the Config (trip configuration) to update.
   
   
6. Click Change Trip Configuration (pop-up will appear). 
7. Select STP from the options. 
8. Enter the placeholder value: 999999. 
9. Click Save.
