DISCLAIMER: Each jurisdiction has its own set of rules (and exemptions) for filing an IFTA return. EROAD suggests that the customer reviews the rules for filing an IFTA return with their relevant State organization prior to filing their IFTA return. Although EROAD has made every effort to ensure that the IFTA e-File CSV is accurate and compatible for the supported jurisdictions, EROAD is not responsible for the accuracy of the information or the success of the file upload. It remains the carrier’s responsibility to validate all records before filing their IFTA return. The miles travelled within the IFTA e-File CSV is calculated by EROAD’s in-vehicle EHUBO telematics product. EROAD relies on data supplied by the customer (via geofences) and third parties (who supply road type information) to calculate any IFTA Exempt Miles on their quarterly IFTA return. EROAD does not review the accuracy of this information and the information is supplied on an ‘as is’ basis. All fuel information contained in the report is obtained from transaction information supplied by the customer. If the customer does not record all fuel transactions in MyEROAD then the information provided will be incorrect.
