When scheduling a Service for a vehicle, you assign a Service Type, e.g. COF or A Service, by selecting it from the list of Service Types available in MyEROAD.

To satisfy your organisation’s individual service requirements, you can add custom Service Types to the list.

Adding a new custom Service Type

You can add a new Service Type when scheduling a Service for a vehicle.

To add a new Service Type:

1. In the Service tab on the left-hand side, click on a vehicle.
2. On the right hand side in the Scheduled tab, click on Schedule New Service.
   The Scheduled Service Item screen will appear.
3. In Type, select Manage Custom Service Type.
   The Manage Service Types screen will appear.
4. Enter a name for the Service and click Add.
5. Close the Manage Service Types screen.
   The Service Type will be available to all vehicles in the Type drop down.

Renaming a custom Service Type

You can rename a custom Service Type that has been added previously.

To rename a custom Service Type:

1. In the Service tab on the left-hand side, click on any vehicle.
2. On the right hand side in the Scheduled tab, click on Schedule New Service.
   The Scheduled Service Item screen will appear.
3. In Type, select Manage Custom Service Type.
   The Manage Service Types screen will appear, listing all custom Service Types.
4. Choose the Service Type you wish to rename, click Edit , edit Service Type name and confirm with Save.
5. Close the Manage Service Types screen.
   The Service Type will be available in the Type drop down with its updated name.

Deleting a custom Service Type

You can delete a custom Service Type that has been added previously.

To delete a custom Service Type:

1. In the Service tab on the left-hand side, click on any vehicle.
2. On the right hand side in the Scheduled tab, click on Schedule New Service.
   The Scheduled Service Item screen will appear.
3. In Type, select Manage Custom Service Type.
   The Manage Service Types screen will appear, listing all custom Service Types.
4. Choose the Service Type you wish to remove, and click Delete .
5. Close the Manage Service Types screen.
   The Service Type will be no longer available in the Type drop down.
