Managing Service Tasks

In order to enable you to record and track all outstanding and completed Service tasks, you can add Service tasks for each of your vehicles.

Adding new Service tasks

You can add new tasks to be performed on a vehicle.

To add a new Service task:

  1. In the Service tab on the left-hand side, click on the vehicle.
  2. On the right hand side in the Tasks tab, click on New Service Task.
    The Add Task screen will appear.
  3. Enter a Name for the task and fill in Details.
  4. Click Add.
    The task will be added to the list of tasks in the Tasks tab, its Status will be Outstanding.

 

Editing Service tasks

You can edit outstanding tasks that have not been completed yet.

To edit an outstanding task:

  1. In the Service tab on the left-hand side, click on the vehicle.
  2. On the right hand side in the Tasks tab, click on edit task Edit Service Task.
    The Add Task screen will appear.
  3. Enter a Name for the task and fill in Details.
  4. Click Add.
    The task will be added to the list of tasks in the Tasks tab, its Status will be Outstanding.

 

Removing Service tasks

You can remove outstanding tasks from the tasks list.

To remove an outstanding task:

  1. In the Service tab on the left-hand side, click on the vehicle.
  2. On the right hand side in the Tasks tab, click on remove task Remove Service Task.
    The Remove Service Task screen will appear.
  3. Click Remove.
    The task will be removed from the list of tasks in the Tasks tab.

 

Adding a completed Service task to a Service

To enable the tracking of completed tasks performed on your vehicles over time you can add completed tasks to a Service.

You can do this:

 

To retrospectively add a completed task to a completed service:

  1. In the Service tab on the left-hand side, click on the vehicle.
  2. On the right hand side in the Tasks tab, click on add task Add task to completed Service.
    A list with completed Services will appear.
  3. Select a Service by clicking on it.
  4. Click Submit.
    The task will be added to the completed Service record. In the Tasks tab, the Status will change to Completed.
