MyEROAD will automatically generate notification emails based on certain events and send them to nominated MyEROAD users. MyEROAD users with Client Administrator or Unit Manager roles can set up users to receive notifications for vehicles they have access to.
To set up a user to receive email notifications:
- In MyEROAD, go to Administration > Notifications.
- Click on a user.
The Manage Notifications screen appears. - Tick and/or untick notifications, which are sent to the user.
- Click Save.
Selected notifications are sent to the user’s email address as stored in MyEROAD.
NOTE: Geofence Notifications can be set up and managed in Administration > Geofences or in Activity > Geofences by Client Administrators, Unit Managers and Tax Users.
Email notification events
Notification emails will be automatically generated for these events:

Driver ID Notifications |
Receive an email when a driver's ID unit is disconnected or a vehicle is driven with no driver logged in. |
Failed DVIR Notifications |
Receive an email when a failed vehicle inspection report is submitted by a driver. |
Service Notifications

Receive an email when a scheduled service is "Due" or "Expired". The "Due" notification email is sent based on the chosen reminder interval for the service in MyEROAD. The "Expired" notification email is sent when a service has not been completed in MyEROAD on the scheduled date. |
Geofence Notification
|
Receive an email when a vehicle enters or leaves a geofence or speeds within a Virtual Speed Camera geofence. NOTE: Geofence Notifications can be set up and managed by Client Administrators and Unit Managers in Admin >Geofences or in Activity > Geofences. |
Max Speed Alert |
Max Speed Alert lets you set up an alert for a speed you consider appropriate. If one of your vehicles travels above the set threshold, you are immediately sent an email. |
