User activity log

The User Activity Log can only be viewed by users with the Client Administrator role.

The User Activity Log adds an extra level of security by allowing Client Administrators to view all MyEROAD users’ main actions within the system.

The log provides information on who created, changed or removed data within a certain timeframe.

To view the User Activity Log:

  1. Administration > User Activity Logs
  2. Select from a wide range of functions from the "Functions" dropdown
  3. Select a specific action from the "Actions" dropdown
  4. Select the timeframe you wish to view the log for

All information that applies to your selected filters will be shown

Example: Viewing who has requested a dashcam video download through Replay.

  1. Filter the log by using the All Functions dropdown to select Dashcam
  2. Click in the User or Details column to see additional details of the activity
  • Video requested
  • Video clip viewed 
  • Video downloaded 
  • Dashcam list exported 
  • Restricted content status added/removed 
  • Restricted content video clip viewed 
  • Dashcam event notification created 
  • Dashcam audio recording settings 
  • Note added/deleted 

Example: You want to see who has turned AutoRUC off.

  1. Select "AutoRUC" from the "Functions" dropdown.
  2. Select "Update" from the "Actions" dropdown.
  3. Select a timeframe from the date picker.
  4. Expand the view to see further details by clicking on the arrow in "User" or "Details"
  5. The details "Set to enabled: false" means AutoRUC was turned off

Example 2: You want to see who has created a specific geofence.

  1. Select "Geofence" from the "Functions" dropdown.
  2. Select "Create" from the "Actions" dropdown.
  3. Type the geofence name or part thereof in the Search field to search for a specific geofence.
  4. Or leave it blank to show all created geofences in the selected time period.
  5. Select a timeframe from the date picker.
  6. Expand the view to see further details by clicking on the arrow in "User" or "Details"

 Example 3: You want to see when a user logged into the system.

  1. Select "Authentication" from the "Functions" dropdown.
  2. Select "Login" from the "Actions" dropdown.
  3. Type a user name or part thereof in the Search field to search for a specific user.
  4. Or leave it blank to show all user names in the selected time period.
  5. Select a timeframe from the date picker.
  6. Expand the view to see further details by clicking on the arrow in "User" or "Details"
