Assign or unassign a hardware unit

In new cogwheel6 / Administration / Ehubos all Ehubos and other EROAD hardware units provisioned to your organisation are listed. This is where Depot users with Client Administrator or Unit Manager/Ehubo Admin roles can assign or unassign a hardware unit to it's vehicle.

Once you have assigned a hardware unit to it's vehicle or asset, further steps might be required:

  • Ehubo1, Ehubo2 or Tubo: the next step will be to complete a 'RUCHO'.
  • Ehubolite: your next step will be to complete the 'Odo Synch'.

Unassign a hardware unit from vehicle/asset

You can unassign an EROAD hardware unit from a vehicle/asset in the EROAD Depot. This can be helpful if you have assigned the hardware unit to the wrong vehicle in Depot. An Ehubolite, Elocate or Asset Tracker may be unassigned from a vehicle at any time. An Ehubo or Tubo may be unassigned from a vehicle only before RUCHO has been completed.

To unassign a hardware unit:

1. Find the Ehubo Serial number that you want to unassign from a vehicle, and click Unassign.
