Setting up Fuel Report Data

This page details a component of our legacy API system.

We encourage all EROAD customers to migrate their API integration keys to our new Integrations service.

 


 

EROAD currently integrates with the following listed fuel providers. To get set up follow the instructions for your provider.

KORA Fuel Cards

  • Email Kora Fuel Cards at support@kora.co.nz and CC:fuelrequests@eroad.co.nz, with your authorisation to provide fuel data to EROAD. Kora Fuel Cards will reply back with a unique identifier code to use in EROAD’s MyEROAD.
  • You will need to set up Kora Fuel Cards as a Fuel Provider in MyEROAD. Follow the instructions below to set up a fuel provider with the identifier code.
  • EROAD fuel reports will usually be available to you 48 hours after your email to Kora Fuel Cards. If longer than this, please contact Kora Fuel Cards at support@kora.co.nz
Z Energy Caltex

   

Z Energy & Caltex

  • Email Z Energy at zbusiness@z.co.nz and CC:fuelrequests@eroad.co.nz, with the Z Business account number(s) you would like to receive fuel data for.
  • You will receive an email from Z Energy that you need to respond to before setup is able to be completed.
  • EROAD fuel reports will usually be available to you 48 hours after your response email to Z Energy. If longer, please contact Z Energy at zbusiness@z.co.nz.

Allied Petroleum

  • Email Allied Petroleum at office.si@alliedpetroleum.co.nz and CC:fuelrequests@eroad.co.nz with all vehicle registrations and associated card numbers you would like to receive fuel data for.
  • You will receive an email from Allied Petroleum that you need to respond to before setup is able to be completed.
  • EROAD fuel reports will usually be available to you 48 hours after your request email to Allied Petroleum.

Mobil

  • Email Mobilcard at customer@mobilcard.co.nz and CC:fuelrequests@eroad.co.nz, the Mobilcard account number you would like to receive fuel data for
  • You will receive an email from Mobilcard Support Centre that you need to respond to before setup is able to be completed
  • EROAD fuel reports will usually be available to you 48 hours after your response email to Mobilcard
  • If longer, please contact Mobilcard Support Centre on customer@mobilcard.co.nz
Fleetsmart

   

Card Link / FleetSmart

  • Email Cardlink at fleetcard@cardlink.co.nz or call Cardlink General Enquiries on 09 574 7700 CC:fuelrequests@eroad.co.nz, with authorisation to provide fuel data to EROAD.
  • Cardlink requests you are a current fleet managed customer.
  • Cardlink may charge a setup fee.

  • Email McFall at fuelcard@mcfallfuel.co.nz and CC:fuelrequests@eroad.co.nz, with all vehicle registrations and associated card numbers you would like to receive fuel data for.
  • You will need to set up McFall as a Fuel Provider in MyEROAD. Follow the instructions below to set up a fuel provider.
  • EROAD fuel reports will usually be available to you 48 hours after your request email to McFall.

NZ Fuel Cards

  • Email NZ Fuel Cards at office@nzfuelcards.co.nz and CC:fuelrequests@eroad.co.nz, with your authorisation to provide fuel data to EROAD. NZ Fuel Cards will reply back with a unique identifier code to use in EROAD’s MyEROAD.
  • You will need to set up NZ Fuel Cards as a Fuel Provider in MyEROAD. Follow the instructions below to set up a fuel provider with the identifier code.
  • EROAD fuel reports will usually be available to you 48 hours after your email to NZ Fuel Cards. If longer than this, please contact NZ Fuel Cards at office@nzfuelcards.co.nz.

 

NOTE: In order to support accurate, reliable fuel reporting in MyEROAD, advise your fuel provider when adding or removing vehicles to your fleet or when ordering a new fuel card.

To set up a fuel provider:

  • Contact the fuel provider as below.
  • Once you have confirmation from the fuel provider, enter fuel provider details in MyEROAD:
    • In MyEROAD, go to Administration / My Organisation.
    • In Third Party Identifier List, click Add.
    • In Type: Select Fuel API Customer Name.
    • In Name: Enter the Fuel Supplier, e.g. BP.
    • In Identifier: Enter the Account Name your fuel provider knows you by, e.g. Acme Freight.

      NOTE: Make sure the entry in Identifier matches your fuel provider’s records!
    • Click Save.

Once set up, fuel records will be processed over nightly, and will be available in MyEROAD the next day.
