Setting the standard for vehicle inspections. EROAD Inspect is the solution for your vehicle health and safety needs. In combination with our web-based platform Depot, EROAD Inspect provides the transparency and flexibility to meet your pre and post-trip vehicle inspection requirements. EROAD’s Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) enables drivers to add feedback regarding the condition of a vehicle, asset or trailer, and include photographic evidence, as required. EROAD Inspect is a stand-alone product and must be downloaded separately. All completed reports can be reviewed and are stored in Depot.

To complete an inspection, the vehicle must exist in Depot (but does not need an EROAD hardware product installed in it) and have an inspection template assigned to it. Setting up EROAD Inspect requires completing two processes:

Platform Support 

EROAD Inspect currently supports the most current version of Android and the two most recently superseded versions (We support Nougat 7, Marshmello 6.x, & Lollipop 5.x. EROAD Inspect will operate on Kitkat 4.4.x, but is not supported.) EROAD Inspect currently supports the most current version of iOS and the most recently superseded version (We support iOS 10 and iOS 9)

EROAD recommends you purchase hardware that can support the most recent versions of Android and iOS for an optimal experience & to review your mobile hardware every 2-3 years. 

EROAD Inspect Subscription

EROAD Inspect is free to download from the New Zealand Google Play. To enable the features of Inspect, you are required to have the EROAD Depot application associated with your organisation.

You are charged for each unique vehicle, asset or trailer completes an inspection within the billing period.

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you decide to cancel your subscription to this service, you must notify EROAD, in writing, 30 days prior to the subscription being cancelled. You will be charged for the last billing period in full. You must email your request to the following email address: You will receive a confirmation of your request within 2 business days with a confirmation of your last day using the service which will be end of the current billing period.
