Reporting features

Reports in MyEROAD have up-to 4 qualities in common around reporting fleet and driver insights: Filter options, Graphs & Charts, Exporting data, and Scheduling reports.

Older reports...

As the MyEROAD platform evolves, we modernise several reports on-the-go. Some reports have yet to be addressed, but they still address filters, graphs, exporting and scheduling. The Tools button looks different but accesses similar featuresets:

To avoid lengthy times waiting for default pages to load, reports often load empty, waiting for you to enter key filter data.

Dynamic chart options

Date ranges, Vehicle and Driver filters, and Machine/Asset types are common filtering parameters used to refine the scope of your overview.

Bands and subranges are color-coded on several graphs, and clicking on the coded dots in the key filters data by that range.

Bands may be ‘focused’ at the individual chart level.

  • Tap the specific color key above the graph to isolate a band.
  • Tap a different color to switch focus to a different band.
  • SHIFT-tap a different color to add that band’s focus to the initial band.
  • Tab anywhere on the graph to return to the initial display.

Graphs and Charts

Datapoint Isolation

In graphic charts, hovering your mouse over them will pop-up a box displaying datapoint details.

  • Tapping a datapoint isolates related data across ALL charts in the report, giving that datapoint additional context.
  • Re-tapping the datapoint resets report isolation.

Exporting data

The overall report – and occasionally, individual charts – allow exporting to PDF format for presentations, or CSV formats for off-platform data processing.

  • Export the report through the Tools button: tap and select your chosen format.
  • Export a chart with its menu, if available.

Scheduling reports

You can schedule certain one-time and recurring reports and have them delivered to your email address. Scheduled reports will be delivered at the start of the business day.

Not all reports are schedulable, and only those to which you have access.

How to schedule a report:

  1. Go into a schedulable report, e.g. Fleet Summary. Select the fleet and the date range you want to schedule the report for, e.g. All Fleets, Monthly.
  2. Tools > Schedule this Report. A pop-up appears.
  3. Keep the Description or change to your own. The description will become the subject of the email.
  4. Select the delivery frequency from the options available, e.g. Monthly.
  5. Select how long you want the report to be active for. Reports can be one off or active for either 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
  6. Select the format you want the report delivered in i.e. pdf or csv, or both.
  7. Add. Your report has now been scheduled.

The scheduled report will be sent to the email associated with your account. The report’s schedule also appears in your Administration > My profile > Scheduled reports (tab) screen.

The system will default the delivery frequency based on the reporting period selected in the report. E.g. if you wish to schedule a monthly report, first select "Monthly" from the report date picker before clicking "Schedule this report":

Viewing / Changing / Pausing / Deleting your scheduled reports

  1. Admin > My Profile > Scheduled Reports (tab). Your scheduled reports are listed.
  2. (Optional) Select the report that needs a schedule update, make your changes and click Update.
  3. (Optional) Select the report you wish to temporarily stop, click Change > Stopped in the dropdown, then Update. This report will now show up faded in the list of your scheduled reports. Your scheduled report has now been temporarily stopped.
  4. (Optional) Select the report you wish to delete, and click the Delete Schedule link. Your scheduled report has now been deleted.
