Vehicles

This screen centralises work on maintaining vehicle details across the fleet quickly.

Not all vehicles are shown by default, only vehicles in active service.

  • To show all vehicles from Depot/MyEROAD, toggle-on Show all vehicles.
  • To add new Vehicles to the fleet: Vehicles > Add
  • To edit a vehicle's properties: More (...) > Edit
  • To examine the change log for a vehicle: More (...) > Edit
  • To examine a vehicle's geofence state (whether it's check out of, or into, a geofence: More (...) > Geofence state

To make an Ehubo-equipped vehicle available for pool booking:

  1. Click a vehicle's More (...) > Edit button. The Edit vehicle panel will appear.
  2. At a minimum, check Enabled and Has Ebox:
    1. Enabled: Lists the vehicle as an operating vehicle in the fleet. Uncheck if the vehicle is being serviced or is otherwise not available for booking.
    2. Enable MyEROAD Geofence syncing: If unchecked, this vehicle is not able to be traced using geofence entry/exit statuses.
    3. Has Ebox: If checked, this vehicle has an EROAD GPS tracker, such as an Ehubo2 or Clarity Dashcam installed.

  3. Update.

The vehicle is now available for pool-booking.

To manually add a non-Ehubo equipped vehicle:

  1. Vehicles > Add. The Create vehicle panel will appear.

    Adding a vehicle in BookIt will not add the vehicle into MyEROAD.

  2. Fill in the vehicle details. Of note:
    1. Enabled: Lists the vehicle as an operating vehicle in the fleet. Uncheck if the vehicle is being serviced or is otherwise not available for booking.
    2. Enable MyEROAD Geofence syncing: If unchecked, this vehicle is not able to be traced using geofence entry/exit statuses.
    3. Has Ebox: If checked, this vehicle has an EROAD GPS tracker, such as an Ehubo2 or Clarity Dashcam installed.
