Depot Release: June 2015

Product Update

We are pleased to be able to share details with you of the June upgrade to EROAD's Depot web service. The upgrade took place at 8pm EST (Tuesday 9 June 2015).

EZfuel – How fuel efficient are your vehicles?

We understand that reducing fuel consumption of your fleet can have a significant impact on your bottom line and it only makes sense to closely monitor your fleet’s fuel efficiency and identify poor performers.

With our new Fuel Efficiency Report we add a modern, visual and easy to use reporting tool to our established suite of fuel reports. It displays the fuel efficiency of all your vehicles and helps you understand the full picture by showing the vehicles’ speeding, idling and fuel transaction events. Quickly identify issues, address them accordingly and monitor progress over time.

Please refer to our help site for more information on how to use the report.

Service Module – ‘Drag and Drop’ paperwork onto the new touch-friendly Completed Service

We have given our popular Service Module a fresh look to streamline data entry of Completed Services and introduce a handy file upload facility. This is good news particularly when using the Service Module on a mobile device.

The new ‘Drag and Drop’ feature helps maintain an auditable trail of all maintenance work by allowing you to quickly upload scanned workshop invoices, photos of repairs and other files documenting the vehicle’s service. Store all your Service records in Depot and ditch the paperwork – here’s how.

Over the coming months we will gradually upgrade/re-model the well-established Depot user interface to better accommodate users with touch friendly devices and streamline common tasks in Depot. Please take a look and get back to us with your feedback.

HERE Maps Update

You may notice the road network on your maps in Depot has been updated, with the addition of new roads and road names. This is part of our quarterly HERE maps update and we will continue to improve the accuracy of your maps in Depot.
